The Charles has two spacious roof decks, from which guests can enjoy beautiful city and Table Mountain views, especially late afternoons. From the courtyard of The Charles, a wooden staircase leads up to the main deck, with another wooden staircase leading up to the upper and slightly smaller deck. The main deck boasts an outdoor barbeque, often used for traditional South African “braais” where guests enjoy an alfresco feast of various meats and vegetables prepared on the barbeque.
